Merry Christmas from Abort73 (and a free song)

Dear Friends - My family is in the Seattle area to celebrate Christmas with my in-laws. Jeff and his family are in Portland. And there's almost as much snow here in the northwest as we left behind in our backyard (picture). We seem well on our way to a white Christmas! Wherever you find yourself this Christmas, I pray that Christ will be first and foremost in your life. To that end, I commend the message and music of ONE STAR. Jacob Ronan, who is the worship director at Harvest Rockford and also does music for Abort73's Love the Least events, wrote this song about a month ago and got a version recorded in time for Christmas. I'm quite fond of it and have no doubt it will help facilitate your celebration of Christ's birth. The 99¢ version and the free version are one and the same so start with the free one and work up from there. After listening, if you decide the song is worth a dollar, go ahead and buy it for real, which will help support Soul Satisfied's first full-fledged recording, slated for this spring.

Also, I got a call this morning that one of the pipes in our kitchen ceiling burst, flooding the kitchen and basement (ie the Abort73 offices). It sounds like we may have lost one of our computers, which was located directly under the deluge, and a small portion of our shirt inventory. Praise God that some of our friends discovered the leak before any more damage was done, and that they further spent the day pumping out the water and getting things dried out. I have a call out to our insurance agent and will know more when I get back in town on Saturday. Please pray that God will help us as a family and as a ministry get back on track quickly (and that everyone who has and will place an order this week will be patient as we get things sorted out!). It's good to know that God is in control!
