Length: 3:00
Page Summary:

Video Text/Dialogue:
PEACE is big business
It sells shirts and shoes. And everything in between.
But there is little peace in the world.
From the moment our life begins... we are threatened by violence.
And the threat is never greater… than when we are in the womb.
Abortion kills almost 25% of the children in America.
And almost half of all children in China.
In Russia, there are more abortions than live births.
Abortion kills more human beings in a week than nuclear weapons have killed in a lifetime.
If you count yourself a lover of peace... consider the words of its most iconic defenders:
"Every human life is of inestimable value..."
Desmond Tutu, Nobel Peace Prize, 1984
"By having a reverence for life, we enter into a spiritual relation with the world. By practicing reverence for life we become good, deep, and alive..."
Albert Schweitzer, Nobel Peace Prize, 1952
"In the 21st century, I believe the mission of the United Nations will be defined by a new, more profound awareness of the sanctity and dignity of every human life…"
Kofi Annan, Nobel Peace Prize, 2001
"Once you bring life into the world, you must protect it. We must protect it by changing the world..."
Elie Wiesel, Nobel Peace Prize, 1986
"Medical men will earn the gratitude of mankind, if instead of devising artificial means of birth-control they will find out the means of self-control… It is wrong and immoral to seek to escape the consequences of one's acts..."
M. K. Gandhi, 5-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee
"Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness..."
Martin Luther King Jr., Nobel Peace Prize, 1964
"There can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than the way in which it treats its children..."
Nelson Mandela, Nobel Peace Prize, 1993
"The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion…"
Mother Teresa, Nobel Peace Prize, 1979
If you embrace abortion, you are rejecting peace.
And vice versa.
