I was 28 and finally leaving an abusive marriage. I felt like I had no choice in a state that didn't allow divorce if you were pregnant. It was not my husband's child. I told myself it wasn't so bad because there was no heartbeat yet. I thought it was the best for everyone. But now we will never know the joy that sweet child could've been for our family. We won't see the relationship my kids would've had with their brother or sister. My sweet child never felt all the love that our family would've shown them. If abortion wasn't an option or didn't exist we would've just made it all work out. I married the dad of that baby and we've had three beautiful boys and had a wonderful life for over 25 years. We hope to meet our child in heaven one day.
