Abortion Story: Griffin, GA
Submitted to Abort73 by a 44-year-old woman on February 22, 2016
I am 44 years old. I had two abortions in my life. I had one when I was 18 years old and one when I was 19 years old. I did this because my mother strongly influenced me. She said I had no money or education. I went on the learn about God when I was 26. I learned that all fetuses are lives. I had my son when I was 34 years old. He is a wonderful, healthy boy. He is 11. I got pregnant and miscarried three years ago. I had wanted that baby. I was very sad. The point is that when I look at my son, I realize there are three other unborn children that could be with him. Two of those I aborted. One I lost for unknown reasons. I should have stood up to my mother when I was 18 and 19. She told me that it was just a mass of cells and not to worry about it. I have seen fetuses, and it was not. I would tell other women that they should keep their babies. It doesn't matter if you are not with the father. It doesn't matter why. Do not take the lives of your unborn children. You will regret it. I do. I cannot change my past mistakes. I can, however prevent others by making the same ones by sharing my experience.
