I'm 19 now and still hurt all day, every day, knowing this pain will never go away...

Abortion Story: Wisconsin

I was 17 when I found out I was pregnant. I WAS A CHILD! My family overheard me talking to my boyfriend about it. That's when my life spiraled. My mother yelled at me every chance she got; my father tried to talk to me as gently as possible. My mom hit and tried to kick me multiple times before telling me if I didn't get rid of her, I'd be on the street. I loved my baby. I was scared and confused; I felt pressured. When we went in, they told me over and over I could back out, but I felt like I didn't have a choice. I suffer every day, knowing I never got the chance to hold my little girl. The father left me, and I was alone. So I did it. I'm 19 now and still hurt all day, every day, knowing this pain will never go away. Her name was Faith.
