MEET THE SUMMER TEAM!

This summer, Abort73 will be exhibiting at two summer music festivals... the Pro-Life Music Festival (PLMF), and the Cornerstone Festival. Assisting in our efforts (that's an understatement!) is an elite team of young adults that we've carefully assembled from Calvary Bible Church in Burbank, CA. These are all people my wife and I have ministered with during our time at Calvary (where Abort73 first became a reality), and we're extremely excited and grateful for their participation this summer. 		My name is Micah Reuben Charles Perez, I'm 17 years old and I'm a junior in high school. I live in Burbank, California and go to Calvary Bible Church. I work at The UPS Store, #5817 and have quite an interest in birds. I have known about Abort73 for awhile and have a pretty good wardrobe of Abort73 t-shirts. When Mike contacted me about being a part of the first ever Abort73 Summer Blitzkrieg, I right away wanted to go. I know that Abort73 addresses the really "hot topic" of abortion and it is important to know how to effectively communicate the truth about it. I have written a paper or two about abortion and talked to a few friends, but haven't yet gotten into any "deep" conversations about it with people. I look forward to learning how to effectively converse with people about the truth of abortion, and actually putting it into practice.

		My name is Heather Rhoads. I am 19 years old and live in Long Beach, CA. I am attending CSULB and plan to become an elementary teacher. This summer I have been blessed with the opportunity to go to Chicago and spread the message of Abort73. I am excited to see what the Lord has planned for this trip and how He will use each of us. It's not just knowing the facts about abortion, but doing something about it!

		My name is Jeff Jones and I presently hail from Burbank, CA. I am 30 years old and have formerly worked as a youth pastor, at Calvary Bible Church in Burbank, and recently as a Bible and substitute teacher, at Village Christian Schools in Sun Valley. I currently attend Calvary Bible Church, but now am part of the children's, young adult, and widow's ministry. I also teach an adult Sunday school class from time to time. I am really looking forward to the Abort73 Blitzkrieg this summer, and pray it will do much to motivate Christians toward appropriate action in this crucial issue of abortion.

		Hi! My name is Erin Moore and I come from sunny Burbank, California. I am 20 years old and a junior at California State University, Northridge. I work part time as a childcare provider for Calvary Bible Church, where I have attended for ten years now and am currently a part of the Young Adults Ministry. I'm praying and hoping that the Lord uses me and the rest of this team in great ways this summer. To come along side Mike and Carrie and work to save unborn babies' lives is truly an amazing opportunity I cannot wait to be a part of. Praise God for the endless possibilities He gives us to serve Him and the people of this world.

		Hi my name is Tony Calderon, I’m 19. I’m a Christian attending Calvary Bible Church in Burbank, CA. I’m a full time student and a part time Barista at a coffee shop. I play the drums and love music. This trip is the perfect combination of music and a more than worthy cause. After much prayer and thought, the Lord has put it on my heart to fly out to Chicago and help spread the word about the atrocities of abortion and enjoy the fellowship I will be having with my fellow trip members. Pray that I would have my priorities in the right place and that I would rely on God for everything needed for the trip.

		Hey, my name is Lisa Stone, I'm 24 years old and I live in Burbank, California. I recently graduated from Cal State Northridge and work now as a Member Service Representative/Loan Officer for Wescom Credit Union. I faithfully attend Calvary Bible Church in Burbank, which is where I met and became friends with the Abort73 crew, aka Mike & Carrie :) I'm going on this trip because I believe wholeheartedly that abortion is the biggest, and most ignored, atrocity ever to happen to humanity, and I want to do whatever I can to raise awareness about it. I believe it is a Christian's responsibility to stand up for truth and what is right, and a right to life should be one of the first things we fight for. I also want to help out my friends however I can, and this opportunity will allow me to do just that.

		My name is Ryan Rhoads. I am 17 years old. This coming fall I will be a senior at John Burroughs High School where I play football. I am looking forward to working for Abort73 and its cause. I can't wait to see what God has planned for this summer.

		My name is Kristi Stone, I'm 21, and live in Long Beach, CA. Last October God blessed me with the opportunity to get a guide dog (Capri, age 2 and a 1/2) to help me get around more easily. Right now I'm going to school to become a massage therapist and am loving it! I'm so excited to go to Illinois this summer and can't wait to see what God is going to do in the lives of those we are able to share with and in the lives of those on the Abort73 crew.

		I'm Daniel Calderon, I'm seventeen and live in Hollywood, CA. I'm a high school student attendING John Burroughs in Burbank, CA. I attend Calvary Bible Church, where I am growing in the Lord constantly. Becoming saved is the best thing that has ever happened to me and the Lord has blessed me in so many ways. Going on this trip to Illinois and surrounding states gives me a chance to go out and be a light to people I haven't met before. It will be an experience that surely will not be forgotten in my life, the lives of those going with me and those that we will have a great impact on. Besides this trip is going to be fun, certainly a good use of my summer.

		My name is Brittany Rhoads and I am a 19 year-old student currently attending California State University of Long Beach and I am presently enrolled in the nursing program. This summer I have the privilege to go to Chicago for a short term mission’s trip to inform many people about abortion and what the Bible says about it. 		Kyle Cullen (as described by brother James): Kyle is 19 years old. He's currently attending College of the Canyons and lives in Glendale, CA. He also goes to Calvary Bible Church and works at the Sports Authority. He's single, very single. He has great bone structure and massive calves. When asked why he wanted to go on the Chicago trip he answered: "To further enlighten college students on the affects of abortion on American society.” And that's a quote.

		James Cullen: I’m 20 years old. I’m currently attending El Camino Community College in Torrance, CA. I live in Glendale, CA, work at Sports Authority, go to Calvary Bible Church, and am single, very single. My bone structure is not as good as Kyle’s but for a slim body, I have surprisingly large biceps (it’s true). I vacation a lot because Brodie makes me and when I was asked why I wanted to go on the Chicago trip I answered: “Abortion is responsible for the single greatest genocide happening on the earth today. What’s different about this genocide from other past ones is it’s hidden, swept under the rug, and forgot about. Abort73 brings to the forefront the wrong that is abortion. The only problem is getting people to the website to let it do its work. That’s why I wanted to be apart of this trip. Hopefully, this group assembled can bridge the gap from ignorance about abortion to knowledge presented on Abort73.”
