GENERAL, "BIG PICTURE" REQUESTS
Every day in America, roughly 4,000 women are scheduled to have an abortion. Pray that God intercedes before they go through with it. Pray for a crisis of conscience that puts them online, desperate to know the truth. Pray that an Abort73 T-shirt, sticker, pen, DVD, or personal referral gets them to Abort73.com.
Pray that everyone who is looking for abortion-related information online, whether they're just doing a school report or are actually in a crisis pregnancy, would wind up at Abort73.com.
To that end, pray that Abort73 would climb the ranks of all the major search engines and would be a page one fixture for key abortion-related search terms.
Pray that when someone reaches Abort73.com, they will become convinced that abortion is a massive injustice and would be compelled to join us in the effort to reach others.
Pray that visitors to Abort73 are able to find the most appropriate and compelling sections of our website quickly and easily.
Pray for those visitors to our site who support abortion rights and are enraged by the content of Abort73.com. Pray, that by God's grace, they would be turned, softened, and changed. Pray that our responses to their emails would be filled with humility and genuine concern.
Pray that as visitors to the site consider the deeper questions of human purpose and existence, they would see the vanity (and peril!) of shallow, earthly pursuits, and would turn their gaze upon Jesus Christ, by whom we can be reconciled to God and gain access to His presence for all eternity.
Pray for the women who come to our site having already had an abortion (and for all the post-abortive women who haven't come to our site!). Pray that sorrow would lead to repentance. Pray that they come to terms with what they did, and find healing in the blood of Christ.
Pray that more students (individually and through campus and church ministries) would wear Abort73 Gear to school. Pray that Abort73 would come to be represented on every high school and college campus in America.
Pray that more churches, youth ministries, and pro-life college clubs would learn of our work, embrace it and promote it.
Pray that those students who are wearing Abort73 to campus would be in the pathway of the right people and would be full of love and humility when the opportunities to talk about Abort73, abortion, and their own convictions arise. Pray that they live well, love people, and carry themselves in a way that recommends the site.
Pray that more Christian bands would be emboldened to be a public witness against abortion and would help point their fans towards the work Abort73 is doing. Pray that their influence would not just be used in the service of press-friendly social issues, but would also be poured out on behalf of those children, right here in America, who are being killed en masse, every single day.
Pray that more nationally known churches and ministries would commend the work of Abort73 and thereby help our influence grow.
Pray that the efforts of Abort73.com would be noticed and covered by both Christian and secular media outlets.
Pray for a larger donor base, that we would have the funds needed to expand this work, and that more people would have the blessing of giving to something eternal.
Pray for the personal integrity and wisdom of Loxafamosity Director, Mike Spielman. Pray that he would remain faithfully committed to Christ, to the local church, to his wife and family, and that there would be no patterns of sin in his life that would compromise the work of Abort73.
TIME-SPECIFIC REQUESTS (first posted: 10-02-07)
Pray for the massive undertaking that is the Abort73 site redesign. It continues to get pushed back by other pressing needs. The basic design is in place, but the implementation is daunting. Pray that it would happen as quickly as possible, that we would find the right people and products to make it a reality, that it would look great, function well, improve our search rankings, and invite more participation and engagement.
Pray for the Abort73 outreach and marketing plans currently in development (read about them here), including our college campus outreach, church video programs, sidewalk counselor packs, and CPC resources. Pray that they would be well conceived, well executed and well-received.
Pray for the funds to be able to continue advertising in national Christian magazines. The exposure has been tremendous.
