Loxafamosity Ministries, Inc. (LMI), the organization behind Abort73.com, believes that "secular" arguments are invaluable and even sufficient to demonstrate that abortion is an injustice of historic proportions, one which systematically destroys the most innocent and helpless members of the human race. You needn't believe in God to oppose abortion. Anyone who cares about human rights, and understands that the right not to be killed outweighs the right not to be pregnant, cannot support abortion.

At the same time, we believe that there is no such thing as a truly "secular" argument. Human rights must come from somewhere, and if they're not God-given, they're arbitrary and baseless. Public policy can never be established outside of some kind of absolute moral framework. In this country, that framework is built on biblical principle. Though the foundation is being systematically destroyed through the theology of evolution, the building, on some level, still stands. Those who believe evolution in principle, cannot live with it in practice.

Loxafamosity is anchored on the infallible Word of God, believing that the Bible is sufficient and authoritative for all matters of faith, life, and godliness. We affirm that God exists in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), that He spoke the universe into existence in six days, that all men have sinned and fall short of God's glory, that the wages of sin is eternal damnation and that the only way to be reconciled to God unto salvation is by being united by faith to the substitutionary work of Jesus Christ our Lord, who came to earth as a man, lived a perfect life, died on the cross, was buried three days and rose triumphantly from the dead.

We believe that the best way to eliminate the injustice of abortion is to educate young people with the massive body of evidence that stands against it. We are not educating people into a new morality, but rather into a more consistent application of their existing morality, one which already holds that it is wrong to kill innocent human beings. While we recognize that abortion is symptomatic of the much greater problem of sin, it is a symptom which claims the lives of thousands of our unborn neighbors every year. We cannot be silent.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

  1. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, sufficient and authoritative for all matters of faith, life, and godliness.

  2. We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  3. We believe Jesus Christ is fully man and fully God, lived a perfect life, died a substitutionary death on the cross for the sins of the world, was buried and after three days rose from the dead, conquering death, and is now seated at the right hand of God.

  4. We believe all men are sinners, falling short of the glory of God, and are in need of salvation from sin and its consequences.

  5. We believe that salvation is by God's grace, mercy, and faith alone, through the preaching of the gospel, repentance, and the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.

  6. We believe every believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit and is able and expected to walk in the newness of the Spirit by obeying God and growing in Christlikeness.

  7. We believe that salvation includes regeneration which produces increasing obedience and transformation into the image of Christ.

  8. We believe in the future resurrection of those who have died, the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to eternal punishment.

  9. We believe in the universal church whereby all true believers are united through faith in Christ according to the truth of God's Word.
